Where will our energy come from? The appetite for oil and other energy sources continues to grow dramatically with worldwide energy consumption projected to rise more than 50 percent by 2030.

The demand is fueled by a population expected to increase 25 percent in the next 20 years, with most of that growth in emerging economies, including China and India.

The challenge is to manage the demand for energy in a responsible and sustainable matter that will meet the world's needs while minimizing the footprint left on the environment.
At the same time, reducing overall energy consumption through energy efficiency and boosting energy productivity is vital to meeting the energy challenge. It is a challenge everyone can help with.
